Mairidh side cabinet

Designed during lockdown for a digitial exhibition in Edinburgh. Mairidh means to endure. The Scots Gaelic phrase ‘Thig crìoch air an t-saoghal, ach mairidh gaol is ceòl, - The end of the world may come, but love and music will endure. The inverwoven flowers embossed on the copper reflects an everlasting theme to look beyond the present. Made from Welsh Oak.
